PC Tots is a high-quality, non-profit early childhood education center committed to providing affordable, accessible, and nurturing care to the working families of Park City. Our diverse and inclusive learning environment supports the developmental, social, and emotional needs of every child we serve. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Support Teacher to join our team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.

Position Summary

The Support Teacher plays a vital role in maintaining a supportive and flexible learning environment. This individual will assist in various classrooms as needed, supporting Lead and Assistant Teachers in caring for and educating children ranging in age from infants to preschoolers. The ideal candidate is adaptable, nurturing, and thrives in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom support in various age groups throughout the center based on staffing needs

  • Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote child development

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment

  • Model respectful communication and positive guidance strategies

  • Follow licensing regulations and PC Tots policies and procedures

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or early childhood education coursework a plus

  • Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred

  • Flexibility and willingness to support different classrooms and age groups as needed

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for working with children and supporting early childhood development

  • Ability to meet state licensing requirements, including background checks

Compensation & Benefits
