At PC Tots, we are committed to ensuring all children have access to high-quality early education and care, regardless of financial circumstances. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing and enriching learning environment, and we are honored to support your family in this endeavor.

Tuition

A student’s tuition is billed monthly. Billing payments will occur through Brightwheel and may be made monthly or pursuant to each family’s financial agreement. Tuition is billed monthly as long as your child is enrolled as a student, regardless of attendance. Tuition rates are not reduced for holidays, emergency closures, staff professional development days, student illness, or student vacations. Tuition rates are subject to change with a minimum of 90 days’ notice.

PC Tots Brighter Tomorrow Scholarships

PC Tots is proud to offer Brighter Tomorrow Scholarships, made possible by the generosity of donors who believe every child deserves access to high-quality early care and education. Their support helps ensure that families in our community have access to affordable, high-quality early childhood education.

These scholarships are available to eligible families who complete the PC Tots Scholarship Application and meet the income and need-based criteria.

Scholarship amounts are individually determined based on a comprehensive review of your application, including household income, family size, and eligibility for other funding sources such as DWS or Upwards. Our goal is to provide meaningful tuition support tailored to each family’s unique circumstances.

To ensure fairness and flexibility, PC Tots uses an Area Median Income (AMI) table, developed in consultation with Summit County data. We expand the AMI ranges to reflect the realities of living in a high-cost area and to ensure that working families at various income levels are considered for assistance.

Once your application is reviewed, PC Tots will notify you directly of your scholarship determination. We are committed to working with families to help make quality early education accessible and sustainable.

PC Tots AMI Index

PC Tots calculates the PC Tots AMI table in consultation with the Summit County AMI. PC Tots expands the AMI to incorporate higher tiers that Summit County does not provide. This table intends to identify family AMI ranges and supports families with PC Tots scholarships. Area median income is adjusted annually. To determine where your AMI is, look at your taxes line 9.

DWS Subsidies

PC Tots staff will work with families to apply for available childcare subsidies through Utah’s Department of Workforce Services (DWS). Families that financially qualify for DWS subsidies are required by PC Tots to apply for this childcare assistance.

Families are required to apply for the DWS subsidy if their income is below or at the DWS monthly income limits for childcare subsidies. Children must be U.S. citizens or qualified aliens. Parents do not need to provide information about themselves regarding immigration status, work authorization, or social security numbers.

Single parents must work an average of at least 15 hours per week and make at least minimum wage. For two-parent households, the second parent must work an average of at least 30 hours a week. The amount of potential payments (paid directly to providers) depends upon the age of the child, the copayment assigned to the case, and the type of provider.
