Years at PC Tots

I started at PC Tots in 2020, worked here for a couple years, then took a year and a half break to focus on my own entrepreneurial work. I came back in October 2023 and am now focusing on fundraising, grant writing, and communications. I'm excited to be back!

Educational Background

I have an undergraduate degree in English Language with a minor in Editing. I also have a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on nonprofit and local government work.

Professional Experience

I started my Public Administration work locally as an intern at Park City Municipal. I split time between the Budget and Executive Departments. I ended up working as an Executive Assistant to Diane Foster who was the City Manager at the time.

After my work at PCMC I worked with local real estate developers on the King's Crown development at the base of Park City Mountain.

When an opportunity at PC Tots opened up in 2020 I decided to get back into public administration and accepted the offer. At PC Tots I’ve done everything from bookkeeping, grant writing, fundraising, and communications to covering in the classroom when teachers are sick and shoveling snow. Small nonprofits require versatility and everyone stepping up to help each other!

Family & Hobbies

I live in Oakley, UT with my two kids Ben (11) and Jimmy (9). They attend elementary and middle school at South Summit.

We like to ski, mountain bike, swim, and watch movies together. I also love to read, travel, eat good food that I didn't have to cook, and go backpacking.

What I like about PC Tots

As a working parent and a divorced mom with two kids, I understand how hard it is to juggle a career and caring for your children. It is incredibly difficult to find high-quality early care and education that is also affordable. And when families can’t access this care it takes a toll on their financial and mental health.

I love working at PC Tots because we support parents financially, in their careers, and ensure their children are well taken care of and prepared for kindergarten. This is one of the greatest gifts a parent can receive and I'm proud to be a part of it.
